a yes, the wonders

I have decided to do ‘topic for the week’ for some weeks and this week will be one of them. I will talk about or around the weeks topic keeping it in the order that has formed inlcuding a poem about the topic for that week. 🙂

This weeks topic, enjoying the earths wonders.

There is a lot that man has done to enjoy and as many natural wonders … worshiping them .. na, rather worship the creator of all.

continues prayer

to continue. and this is not only aimed at christians but aimed still at living for who you believe in or what you believe in. I myself do believe in Jesus and believe he is the way.

I encourage you to live in a way that is always in communication with Jesus. So that he can guide your steps, and no it is not about the talking is is about your being willing to hear what He has to say and responding to it through your actions. Live in a state of prayer

Prayer is not only a one time thing around a table or on your knees it is all the time.

On your knees, around a table, all the time.

I felt like it this morning and so I am going to talk about prayer or praying

For what we about the receive, may the LORD make us truly thankful, Amen.

Firstly I would like to approach this from an angle. To the people that do pray this prayer or have in the past. Why it is that this prayer is only prayed b4 a meal? To give this contrast, why it is not prayed before a big meeting where you need to be thankful for the outcome. Can you not pray it before you go into church. Why don’t we pray the prayer while going through a though time, or going into a meeting that you really don’t want to be in. The prayer would be saying that you would like to be thankful for the lesson that you will receive … My point to looking at it from this angle? We must live in a state of thankfulness, honestly. Although we continue our “normal” lives everything around us has been designed so we can continue to breathe on this earth…. We need to be thankful!\

To those of you who don’t agree with the prayer … who do not say “Amen”. I keep it simple. Either you agree with what the person said and say Amen or you disagree and make it known that you don’t want someone to pray. I understand it is not polite … bring it up at some other time then. But stick with what you want to be or believe it correct.

[I will continue tomorrow with “living in a state of prayer”]

i agree with the lesson of the poem

The Road Not Taken
by Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

u are the hero

To continue from yesterdays post… Although fire fighter and nurses/doctors are everyday heroes I am not referring to them right now, although they have a major role to play and I thank them for doing it. I am glad that there are ppl that have taken that responsibility. For now though I am referring to you the “ordinary” person or average Jo can be a hero to someone. How? By what you say or do are just by listening you can help somebody.  People need to know that there are others that care for them

I’m talking about going out of your way, just a little, to help someone else. I mean really sometimes it takes very little from your side to touch a person’s life. Maybe it is a sandwich, a smile, an acknowledgement of the fact that they are there, that they are not ghost.

You do not know what is happening in another person’s mind, what thoughts they are having. Why do ppl not encourage others enough? Why do adults and youth enjoy teasing others? Boosting of egos is what I blame. Funny that in many moments you don’t think of anyone else but yourself… Some might say in those moments it is moments of weakness. Others say it is human nature.

I say be in control of your emotions and mind and instead of getting angry at a person or shouting at them or saying something nasty… Why don’t you be the hero?
